Our client is a retail and wholesale destination that leverages local tourism traffic. The brand is looking to build a stronger social media presence on Instagram and TikTok to support both its retail store objectives and wholesale operations.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to lead their content and visibility strategy through the end of the year, starting mid-August. You will be responsible for bringing the brand's unique "high desert vibe" to life across digital platforms by leveraging existing content, including a bookstore, hat manufacturing, and curated inventory.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Develop and execute a content strategy for Instagram and TikTok aimed at increasing store traffic and supporting wholesale goals.

• Manage the content pipeline using available assets (bookstore, hat manufacturing, curated products).

• Drive visibility and growth on social platforms through consistent posting and engagement.

• Collaborate on future marketing campaigns in Spanish to support planned international wholesale goals for Argentina and Uruguay.

• Ensure content availability and visibility planning through the end of the year.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management, specifically with Instagram and TikTok.

• Strong creative intuition to capture a unique brand "vibe."

• Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.

• Candidates based in Latin America are preferred to optimize time zone alignment with California.
