Job Description:
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Graphic Designer / Art Director to support branding and design initiatives across multiple client projects, with a strong focus on bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table. This freelance role has the potential to grow into a long-term partnership as we scale our agency and continue working with recurring clients. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual thinking, an eye for detail, and the ability to transform briefs into unique and polished creative solutions. You should be proactive, confident in your creativity, and able to take the lead on generating ideas—not just executing instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop brand identities from scratch, including logo creation and brand guidelines
- Redesign existing logos and elevate brand visuals when needed
- Create print marketing materials such as business cards, flyers, and truck wraps
- Produce professional and creative layouts that balance originality with clarity and applicability
- Ensure visual consistency and accuracy in spacing, alignment, and brand standards
- Provide creative ideas and strategic input during the briefing process
- Optional: Web design support (not required, but a plus)
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with an Art Director mindset
- Strong portfolio showcasing branding and creative concept work
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to independently generate creative concepts and execute them
- Strong understanding of design fundamentals, spacing, balance, and brand application
- Fluent in Spanish and able to communicate well in English/Spanglish
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal direction
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with clients in traditional industries (bonus for waste or industrial sectors)
- Experience applying creative, out-of-the-box thinking to professional and functional designs
- Familiarity with web design and/or social media design (not mandatory)
Personality:
- Creative thinkers with a sharp eye for design and trends

- Comfortable working in fast-paced remote teams

- CapCut or similar video editing tools
