Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal Research Specialist to support their title operations team. This role involves researching real estate laws across U.S. jurisdictions and identifying how liens attach to properties. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate data sourcing and legal clarity for title-related processes.

 

Responsibilities:

• Research real estate and lien laws across different U.S. states and counties.

• Analyze whether and how liens attach to properties in various jurisdictions.

• Contact county offices to identify and verify sources of public records and data.

• Gather and organize legal and property-related information for internal use.

• Support title and closing teams with accurate, up-to-date research.

• Maintain documentation of findings and processes.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience as a paralegal, legal researcher, or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of real estate law (U.S. preferred).

• Ability to navigate public records and government systems.

• Comfortable making calls to county offices and agencies.

• Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in title companies, escrow, or real estate transactions.

• Familiarity with lien types (tax, judgment, mechanics, etc.).

• Previous experience working with U.S. counties or legal databases.

 

Personality:

• Independent and proactive.

• Strong communicator.

• Resourceful when sourcing hard-to-find information.

 

English Level:

C2, Native
