Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Recruiter to support our client in building their team. You will collaborate with founders and hiring managers to source, screen, and onboard high-caliber candidates for various roles, including software engineers, product managers, and executive assistants. This remote-first position is ideal for candidates located in Latin America with experience in recruiting for U.S.-based startups.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Source and engage candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, databases, and outbound strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage candidate pipelines across multiple open roles.
  • Conduct screening interviews and evaluate candidates for role and culture fit.
  • Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to understand evolving role requirements.
  • Provide candidate summaries and organize feedback loops.
  • Maintain ATS records and recruiting documentation.
  • Communicate with clarity, speed, and professionalism across time zones.
  • Work flexibly and be available to respond to founder pings during off-hours, as needed.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing as needed.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably for startups or technical roles.
  • Fluent in English (C1+ level – strong written and verbal skills).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple open roles simultaneously.
  • Proficient with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and applicant tracking tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, Greenhouse, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with a collaborative mindset.
  • Based in Latin America or with overlapping time zones to U.S. EST/PST.
  • Comfortable with flexible schedules and responsiveness outside traditional 9–5 hours.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience hiring software engineers or product roles in U.S.-based companies.
  • Understanding of startup dynamics and fast-paced recruitment cycles.
  • Prior experience working remotely with distributed teams.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with commission-based recruiting models or contract-to-perm structures.
