Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a skilled Web Developer to support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of their WordPress and WooCommerce-based e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and bring a combination of front-end and back-end web development experience to the role.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce sites.

• Customize themes and plugins to meet business and design requirements.

• Optimize site performance, security, and SEO best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to site functionality or performance.

• Collaborate with team members to plan and implement new features or integrations.

• Maintain documentation and version control across development projects.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with SEO implementation and best practices in web development.

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging site issues.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of e-commerce trends and customer experience optimization.

• Experience with regulated industries such as cannabis or vaping.

• Familiarity with marketing integrations (email, analytics, etc.).

 

Personality:

• Self-motivated and highly accountable.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
