Our client is a law firm specializing in personal injury cases. They focus on providing comprehensive legal support to clients who have been affected by personal injury incidents and aim to streamline processes and deliver outstanding results.

 

Job Description:

Our client is hiring a full-time remote Personal Injury Paralegal ready to step into a leadership role. The candidate will oversee the performance of legal assistants, guide the medical and demand departments, and ensure the proper use of the firm’s core systems, primarily Filevine and Time Doctor.

 

Responsibilities:

Case Oversight & Filevine Leadership:

• Review and manage all activity within Filevine.

• Ensure all case activity, related documents, deadlines, and communications are updated and accurately tagged.

• Utilize available automations consistently.

• Review medical documents, revise draft demands, and assist in negotiations with adjusters and medical providers.

• Monitor treatment statuses and confirm documentation tracking.

Team Supervision & Department Coordination:

• Oversee performance of legal assistants and ensure task execution.

• Communicate deficiencies and coordinate with leadership for follow-up.

• Address workflow gaps and present solutions to leadership.

Productivity & System Use:

• Ensure accurate time tracking with Filevine timer and oversee team productivity with Time Doctor.

• Lead by example in time management and engage in weekly check-ins.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal in a U.S.-based law firm.

• Strong understanding of the PI process: intake, medical treatment, demands, negotiations, and litigation support.

• Experience managing other legal assistants or junior staff.

• Proficient with Filevine or willingness to take an intensive course on its features.

• Comfortable with remote work environments and task reporting.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to operate within structured systems and follow accountability protocols.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

 

Personality:

• Must be proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of leading a team effectively.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage deadlines and priorities.

English Level:

C1

 

Schedule:

10-6 EST

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.

• Performance-based incentives for case outcomes, demand generation, and time efficiency.

• Quarterly evaluations to determine bonus payouts.
