Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our Client’s content team. This is a full-time position focused on editing short-form content, podcasts, and other multimedia assets. The ideal candidate has experience in podcast video production and is comfortable working with both traditional and AI-powered editing tools.

 

Responsibilities:

• Edit video and audio content for podcasts using platforms like Riverside FM and Descript.

• Produce and repurpose short-form content for social media platforms using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.

• Apply storytelling techniques and visual enhancements to maximize viewer engagement.

• Collaborate with content creators and producers to meet publishing schedules.

• Organize and manage multimedia assets for efficient project workflows.

• Incorporate AI-powered editing tools to streamline video clipping and production when possible.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor, particularly with short-form and podcast formats.

• Proficiency in Riverside FM, Descript, CapCut, and Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of editing fundamentals: pacing, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics.

• Ability to deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.

• Strong English communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using AI-based video clipping and editing tools.

• Knowledge of social media trends and content optimization for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.

• Familiarity with brand voice and visual consistency in multimedia content.
