Job Description:
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced SEO Specialist to join their dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and increase conversions. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization techniques, and analytics tools.
Responsibilities of the role:
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and creation.
• Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking.
• Execute off-page SEO tactics, such as link building and digital PR, to enhance website authority and visibility.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) and provide regular reports on key metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other marketing team members to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
• Identify technical SEO issues and work with the development team to implement solutions.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, and tools.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive SEO strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Experience with content marketing and strategy.
