About the Company:

Our client is a wholesale meat distributor based in South Florida that has been expanding rapidly over the past six to seven years. They are seeking to outsource administrative support to manage increased labor needs and high turnover.

 

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is order taking and invoicing. The Billing Assistant will input orders received from sales representatives (primarily via WhatsApp) into the invoicing system. They will also review and issue invoices after receiving details from the warehousing team regarding stock and weights. The role may also involve taking orders directly from customers and assisting with accounts receivable and logistical functions as needed.

The ideal candidate will be competent, trustworthy, and reliable, with a willingness to learn and commit to the role long-term. While extensive experience is not required, a capable individual who can be trained is essential.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Take orders from sales representatives via WhatsApp and input them into the invoicing system (Lace Up).

• Review and issue invoices after receiving details from the warehouse.

• Potentially take orders directly from customers.

• Assist with accounts receivable functions using QuickBooks.

• Understand and assist with logistical functions as required.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Competent, trustworthy, and reliable.

• Willingness to work early morning hours (e.g., 5:00 AM Eastern Time).

• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with order entry and invoicing.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks and logistics systems.
