Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a detail-driven and proactive Property Manager Assistant to support the daily operations of their property management team. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and responsiveness skills to ensure tenant satisfaction and efficient property management processes.

 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

• Assist in lease lifecycle management, including drafting agreements and processing renewals and terminations.

• Manage rent collection activities, send reminders, and enforce payment terms.

• Serve as the liaison between tenants, property owners, and vendors.

• Schedule and monitor maintenance and repair work orders.

• Ensure follow-through on service requests to maintain high property standards.

• Maintain up-to-date digital records, ensuring compliance with property management regulations.

• Conduct background checks and assist in preparing onboarding materials.

• Assist in coordinating property inspections and processing security deposit returns.

• Generate operational reports and flag operational risks proactively.

• Create or update rental listings and coordinate property showings.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and suggest process improvements.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in property management, real estate operations, or virtual property assistance.

• Knowledge of lease administration, rental laws, and maintenance coordination processes.

• Ability to multitask across a high volume of properties or tenants.

• Excellent communication skills and a professional customer service demeanor.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Strong experience with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, RentRedi).

• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

• Comfortable using remote tools like Slack, Zoom, and project management boards (Asana, Trello).

 

Personality:

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.

 

Software & Tools:

• Property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, RentRedi).

• Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

• Remote tools like Slack, Zoom, and project management boards (Asana, Trello).

 

English Level:

C2

 

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 7-3 / 8-4 / 9-5 EST

 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate’s preference.
