Our Client operates in the horse industry, specializing in the sale of horses and organizing equestrian events. They are expanding their digital presence and seeking a skilled professional to build and design their online platform to support sales, event bookings, and horse auctions.

 

Job Description:

This role requires both strong development and design skills to build a user-friendly website that will allow customers to buy horses, reserve events, and participate in online auctions. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing end-to-end development.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a responsive website from scratch.

• Implement features for horse sales, event reservations, and live auction functionality.

• Ensure smooth integration of secure payment systems.

• Optimize website performance, scalability, and user experience.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the platform as needed.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong portfolio of web projects.

• Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML, CSS).

• Experience with database management (SQL or NoSQL).

• Strong knowledge of web design principles and UX/UI best practices.

• Ability to develop secure and scalable e-commerce functionalities.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience implementing online auction platforms.

• Familiarity with payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud hosting solutions (AWS, Azure, or similar).

• Prior experience in building booking or reservation systems.
