Job Title: Spanish-speaking Remote Registered Dietitian

Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and passionate Plant-Based Dietitians to join our dynamic team. This part-time role is ideal for licensed dietitians looking for a secondary income. As a remote dietitian, you will specialize in using nutrition as therapy for individuals with chronic diseases, providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling to improve health outcomes. You must be a registered dietitian to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized action plans tailored to their health goals and medical conditions.
- Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, focusing on the benefits of a plant-based diet.
- Offer nutrition counseling and education to help clients make sustainable lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Utilize AI charting tools to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
- Attend Tuesday night team meetings at 6:30 pm PST.
- Be available for 1-2 on-call shifts per week and work 1-2 Saturday shifts per month.
Availability:
- Part-time, with expected hours of 15 – 25 per week.
- Must work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- Must be able to work in Pacific Standard Time hours.
Work Schedule:
Shifts available:
- Monday - Thursday, 9 am - 2 pm PST.
- Monday - Thursday, 2 pm - 7 pm PST.
- Friday and Saturday, 8 am - 1 pm PST.
- Friday and Saturday, 1 pm - 6 pm PST.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian credentials with a valid license to practice (Registered Dietitian by CDR required).
- Strong background in nutrition science, with a focus on plant-based diets for chronic disease management.
- Experience providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling to individuals with chronic conditions.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- High-speed internet, dual monitors, and a private, distraction-free home office are required.
