Position Description:

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations by providing exceptional scheduling and customer care services over the phone. Working from your home office, you will handle inbound calls, ask essential questions to understand client needs, and schedule jobs effectively. Your ability to set a friendly and professional tone during interactions makes every call a positive experience for clients.

About the Company:

Our client specializes in outsourcing back-office tasks for home service contractors, such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC professionals. By combining traditional customer care with innovative technology, they deliver seamless 24/7 live phone answering, call screening, dispatching, and bookkeeping services. This enables contractors to focus on their expertise while ensuring efficient and professional administrative management.

 

Availability:

  • Full-time position

  • 8-hour shifts with an unpaid lunch hour, 5 days per week (rotating days off)

  • Shifts range from 7 AM to 11 PM EST

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls (no cold calling), inquire about customer needs, and set appointments

  • Update and maintain customer account information

  • Provide efficient and effective communication with clients

 

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and close deals

  • Communication Skills: Strong listening, rapport-building, and communication abilities across phone, email, and chat

  • Personality: Outgoing and personable with a knack for connecting with people

  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally

  • Work Ethic: Reliable, dedicated, and committed to delivering top-tier customer service

Language Requirement:

  • C2-level proficiency in English

 

Technical Requirements:

Computer:

  • Windows (10 Pro/11 Pro/Enterprise) or iOS (Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, or Sonoma)

  • Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor

  • 8 GB RAM minimum, 16 GB recommended

  • Two monitors required (if using a laptop smaller than 15")

Headset: Wired noise-canceling microphone with USB connection

Internet: Wired connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary paid in USD or local currency according to preference.

  • Bonuses available after 90 days based on performance metrics.

 

Company Policies:

  • Paid Time Off (PTO):

    • 2 days after 90 days of employment

    • 7 days after one year, subject to company adjustments

 

Additional Notes:

While this is a long-term position, hours may be adjusted to part-time during slower periods.
