About the Company:

Our client is a residential property management company that manages rental properties on behalf of owners. They handle tenant placement, rent collection, and property maintenance.

 

Job Description:

The Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for the maintenance of properties within their assigned portfolio. This includes overseeing the upkeep and repair of properties, coordinating turnovers between tenants, and acting as a central communication hub between tenants, vendors, owners, and the internal team.

The role involves relaying messages, maintaining organization, communicating estimates to property owners for approval, relaying messages to tenants, and scheduling maintenance activities.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for rental properties.

• Manage property turnovers between tenants, including coordinating handymen, cleaners, and painters.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and property owners regarding maintenance.

• Communicate maintenance estimates and updates to property owners for approval.

• Schedule and coordinate maintenance appointments.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal).

• High level of intelligence and capability.

• Highly organized and responsive.

• Technologically capable.

• Preference for a male candidate.

• Ideally, some foundational knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical), though capability is prioritized over specific experience.

• Age preference: Mid-20s to early 30s.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with property management software, specifically AppFolio.

• Experience in real estate or property management is a plus, but capability is valued more.

 

Personality:

• Professional demeanor.

• Highly organized and responsive.

• Intelligent and capable.

 

Software & Tools:

• AppFolio (preferred, but trainable).

 

Schedule:

9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Potential for future on-call responsibilities, possibly one weekend per month.

 

Salary and Benefits:

• Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.
