Our client is a Seattle-based creative studio and rental space serving local artists, content creators, and small businesses. Their mission is to offer both a versatile production environment and professional media services. With a growing client base, they are expanding their in-house media team to enhance their service offerings.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a talented Freelance Videographer and Photo Editor who can deliver high-quality visual content for their clients. The ideal candidate will be experienced in video shooting, photo retouching, and post-production editing, with a good sense of aesthetics and attention to detail. This is a project-based freelance role with flexible hours depending on current demand.

 

Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality video footage for client projects, including interviews, product shoots, and promotional content.

Edit raw video and audio files into polished final versions suitable for web and social media platforms.

Edit and retouch photographs (e.g., cropping, color grading, exposure adjustments).

Organize and deliver digital assets in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the client and social media team to ensure consistency with brand style and messaging.

Prepare portfolio samples for review during the hiring process.

Be available for both on-site shoots and remote editing work as needed.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience in videography and photography.

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).

Experience editing and retouching photos using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.

Strong visual storytelling skills and understanding of composition, lighting, and sound.

Ability to work with flexible schedules and occasional on-site shoots in Seattle.

Fluency in English; able to understand and communicate project requirements clearly.

 

Preferred Skills:

Prior work in content creation for social media, YouTube, or commercial clients.

Familiarity with visual branding and how to adapt visuals to different target audiences.

Experience working in a shared creative space or production studio setting.

Strong portfolio showcasing past videography and photo editing work.

 

Personality:

Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for producing high-quality visual content.

Open to feedback and able to make quick revisions when necessary.

Flexible and adaptive to the flow of freelance project timelines.

Self-motivated and reliable when working independently or collaboratively.

 

Software & Tools:

Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom)

Final Cut Pro (or equivalent)

File sharing platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)

Optional: DaVinci Resolve, After Effects

 

English Level:

C2

 

Schedule:

9-12 PST

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Payment in USD or Local Currency according to candidate's preference.
