Job Description:

We are seeking an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to support our client's estate planning practice. The ideal candidate is preferably a licensed attorney; however, candidates with strong estate planning experience will also be considered, particularly those with hands-on experience using WealthDocs. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage estate planning matters efficiently while supporting attorneys and clients throughout the planning process.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

• Prepare and draft estate planning documents.

• Assist with the administration and organization of estate planning files.

• Utilize WealthDocs to create and manage estate planning documents.

• Communicate professionally with clients regarding estate planning matters.

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.

• Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to ensure timely completion of client work.

• Perform administrative and legal support tasks as needed.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed attorney preferred.

• Candidates without a law degree will be considered if they have substantial estate planning experience.

• Demonstrated experience working in an estate planning practice.

• Experience using WealthDocs is highly preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced proficiency with WealthDocs.

• Experience drafting a variety of estate planning documents.

• Strong client service skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal team.
