Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong technical background in architecture or engineering to join our client’s high-impact sales team. This is a full time, remote position focused on guiding qualified leads through a structured sales process for residential construction projects. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, technically knowledgeable in construction and home design, and able to clearly communicate complex information to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales consultations with inbound leads who meet qualification criteria.

• Explain the company’s turnkey construction solution, including financing structure, architectural services, and engineering processes.

• Provide clear answers to technical questions related to home construction (e.g., soil testing, structural plans, plumbing layout, energy calculations).

• Present and justify upsells for premium home features and services such as water softeners, lighting systems, and outdoor kitchens.

• Guide clients through the estimation and construction agreement processes.

• Ensure client preferences are accurately reflected in architectural and engineering plans.

• Audit construction documents to verify inclusion of sold features prior to finalization.

• Collaborate with the internal project management team to ensure seamless transition from sales to execution.

• Maintain detailed records of all sales activities in the CRM.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent work experience in architecture, civil engineering, or construction-related field.

• Proven sales experience with consultative or technical selling components.

• Exceptional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

• Experience working in the U.S. residential construction market.

• Ability to understand and explain architectural and engineering plans.

• Comfortable leading client calls and presenting complex service offerings clearly and persuasively.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in custom home design, home construction project management, or residential architecture.

• Familiarity with construction terms and standards used in the U.S. (e.g., structural systems, HVAC, plumbing, materials).

• Prior experience selling high-ticket or long-cycle services.

• Capacity to upsell additional services by identifying client needs and offering valuable add-ons.

• Comfort handling detailed discussions with informed prospects (e.g., builders, landowners).

 

Personality:

• Technically confident, well-spoken, and charismatic in English.

• Able to combine client service orientation with attention to project and design detail.

• Proactive, responsive, and organized in managing long sales cycles.

• Enjoys building rapport and trust through deep product knowledge and professionalism.

 

Software & Tools:

• Monday.com CRM

• Communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack)

• Project collaboration platforms

• Basic familiarity with architectural/design tools is a plus.

 

English Level:

Native

 

Schedule:

9-5 EST
