Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Wholesale Manager with a strong background in the perfume industry. The ideal candidate will have proven buying experience and a comprehensive understanding of the wholesale market. This role involves managing supplier acquisitions and developing client relationships to enhance wholesale operations in the UK and beyond.

 

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and secure competitive suppliers in the perfume industry.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements to maximize margins.

• Source well-known brands and niche products at competitive prices.

• Manage and grow a wholesale client portfolio.

• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and supply chain developments.

• Maintain accurate records of supplier and buyer interactions.

• Collaborate with management to develop growth strategies.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the perfume wholesale industry (buying and supplier sourcing is essential).

• Established network of perfume suppliers preferred.

• Strong negotiation skills and market awareness.

• Excellent English communication skills (native or fluent).

• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable with remote collaboration tools.

• Experience with CRM systems is a plus.

• Existing industry knowledge that enables quick adaptation.

• Strategic thinking coupled with hands-on sales and sourcing abilities.

 

Personality:

• Self-starter who thrives in a remote working environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills to foster solid relationships with suppliers and clients.

• Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.

Schedule:

• Part-time on European Standard Time
